Barakah is a senior counsel called to the bar in 2009. She graduated from the University of Ilorin in 2008. She obtained her LLM from the University College London in 2012. She is a member Charted Institute of Arbitrators UK and has Certificate of Proficiency in ADR Processes from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (2011). She has experience in Civil and Criminal Litigations, Arbitration, Mediation and Negotiation, Corporate Governance and Finance. She has special interest in Alternative dispute resolution. She is currently undergoing a training to become a compliance officer for the Securities and Exchange Commission.
